While many of us gather with friends and family to mark the end of summer this Labor Day weekend, more than six million Americans will begin recovering from Hurricane Harvey.

We've decided to do three things to support our neighbors in Texas.

First, instead of doing our normal Member Gift With Purchase promotions this holiday weekend, we're going to allocate that budget toward funding hurricane aid. Next week, we’ll deliver a truck filled with food staples, clean water, diapers, baby products, and supplies to the Houston Food Bank.

Second, for the entire month of September, we'll be giving every dollar donated at checkout through our Spread the Health program to families affected by Hurricane Harvey. Donations will go toward healthy Thrive Market food, baby supplies, and clean water, all purchased at cost, and shipped directly to our partner organizations on the ground in areas affected by the storm.

Finally, as co-founders, we've decided to go one step further and personally match every dollar donated. Our goal is to raise $100,000 in the next 30 days for the relief effort.
